Our story

In Envigado since 1955

We're a family-run hardware and building-supply store. We started out selling fuel, and that's where the name comes from: la bomba is the fuel pump.

More than 70 years

First came the fuel

Don Pedro Pablo González sold fuel in Envigado. In 1955 he branched out, and that's how Almacén y Ferretería La Bomba was born.

The name stuck: la bomba means the fuel pump. That's why there's a red pump on our logo and on our paint label.
